Directions

  1. 1Start with a spicy filling made with golden fried onions, lots of garlic, tomato paste, harissa, paprika, Ras el Hanout, freshly ground pepper, and crushed tomatoes. Add some salt and leave it to cook until thickened.
  2. 2Make the dough. Mix together semolina flour, plain flour, salt, oil, and water. Knead the dough well.
  3. 3Shape the dough into smaller pieces, grease them up, and give them a break.
  4. 4Stretch the dough out super thin. Add the filling, fold them into a square, and bake until they look golden.
