3Combine 1 tbsp neutral oil, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, and 1/2 tsp garlic powder in a bowl.
4Evenly coat the shredded tofu with the mixture.
5Spread the seasoned tofu on a baking sheet.
6Bake the tofu for approximately 30 minutes.
7Heat 1/4 cup BBQ sauce and 1/4 cup water in a pan.
8Stir the baked tofu into the BBQ sauce mixture in the pan.
9Serve the BBQ shredded tofu on buns with a side of coleslaw.

Shredding tofu is a great way for those who dislike tofu’s texture to include it in their diets.
No need to press the tofu before shredding it.
The firmer the tofu, the more nutrients (carbs, protein, fat, calories) it has, with extra-firm tofu having the most protein and silken tofu the least.
