- 1Unwrap the mozzarella sticks.
- 2Arrange eight mozzarella sticks on a cutting board.
- 3Cut the mozzarella sticks into fourths.
- 4Roll out some pizza dough on a cutting board.
- 5Cut the pizza dough into 32 pieces.
- 6Place one mozzarella cube on top of each pizza dough piece.
- 7Season the mozzarella and dough with Italian seasoning.
- 8Roll each seasoned dough piece with mozzarella into a dough ball, ensuring the cheese is enclosed.
- 9Place the dough balls, seam side down, on a sheet pan lined with baking paper, arranging them in the shape of a Christmas tree.
- 10Brush the dough balls with egg wash.
- 11Bake the Christmas tree appetizer at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 16 minutes, until golden on top and the cheese starts to ooze out.
- 12Garnish with fresh parsley.
- 13Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- 14Serve with marinara sauce.
