Directions

  1. 1Combine gochujang, butter, and brown sugar in a small bowl to create the gochujang caramel butter.
  2. 2In a separate larger bowl, mix granulated sugar, egg, salt, and vanilla extract.
  3. 3Add flour to the sugar and egg mixture and combine until a dough forms.
  4. 4Dollop the gochujang caramel butter onto the dough using a scoop, then fold it in to create big swirls.
  5. 5Scoop the finished dough onto a lined baking sheet.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp gochujang
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour

Tips

  • The third scoop of dough can be wrapped in parchment and stored in a plastic bag for later use.
