Cut the tomatoes and onions roughly.

In a pan, add oil and sauté the garlic.

Add chopped onion and fry it well

Add chopped ginger and fry well.

Add chopped tomatoes and salt and stir well.

Cover and cook on medium flame.

Stir occasionally.

Let it cool completely and transfer to a mixer jar.

Grind it well.

Strain the gravy.

Prepare the masala by adding turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, kitchen king masala and water and make it a paste.

Add oil, whole spices and masala paste in a pan.

Stir and cook on low flame.

Add prepared gravy.

Stir and cook on medium flame

Take a large vessel, add chilled water and ice cubes and place the gravy bowl.

Stir occasionally.

1.25 KG Tomato
500 gm Onion
20 cloves Garlic
5 inch Ginger
5 tbsp Oil
0.5 cup Oil
Cloves
Black Peppercorns
Cardamom
Cinnamon
Black Cardamom
Bay leaf

Star Anise
1.5 tsp Turmeric Powder
4 tsp Red Chilli Powder
2 tsp Coriander Powder
3 tsp Kitchen King Masala
Water
Salt

Tips
Use red, ripe tomatoes for the best flavor.
Excess oil in the gravy is used for preservation but can be removed before using in a dish.
Always add spices when the oil is low hot to avoid burning them.
