Smoked Duck

Directions

  1. 1Blanch the duck by pouring boiling water over it.
  2. 2Dry the duck with paper towels.
  3. 3Make a sauce with soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, gochujang, sesame oil, rice vinegar and orange juice. Mix well.
  4. 4Pour the sauce all over the duck, inside and out.
  5. 5Place the duck in the refrigerator uncovered overnight.
  6. 6The next day, poke holes in the duck skin using a knife or a meat tenderizer.
  7. 7Place the duck in a smoker or oven at 275°F.
  8. 8Baste the duck with the sauce every 30 minutes.
  9. 9Cook until the duck reaches an internal temperature of 145°F in the thickest part of the breast.

  • 2 Oranges
