Directions

  1. 1Melt butter in a pan. Add finely chopped tomatoes, peas, and half a finely chopped capsicum. Add 2 boiled and mashed potatoes, 1 tsp salt, and saute for 2 minutes.
  2. 2Add half a cup of water, mix well, and cover to boil for 10 minutes.
  3. 3Once boiled, mash smoothly until you get a smooth texture.
  4. 4Add 1 tsp chilli powder, 1/4th tsp turmeric, 1 tsp pav bhaji masala, 1 tsp kasuri methi, and 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander. Saute for 1 minute.
  5. 5Add 1 tbsp butter, 1/4th tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp pav bhaji masala, 1 tsp kasuri methi, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 finely chopped onion, 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander, and half a lemon. Saute for 1 minute.
  6. 6Add 3 drops of red food colour (optional), mix well and adjust consistency by adding half a cup of water. Boil and mash for 5 minutes until smooth.
  7. 7In another pan, toast the pav bread rolls after spreading some butter, chilli powder, pav bhaji masala, and coriander.
