Start by taking a pack of mini croissants.

Chop each croissant into about three pieces.

Toss the chopped croissants into the bottom of a baking dish.

Take half a pound of sliced Black Forest ham, fold each slice up, and tuck them in between the croissants.

Shred 8 ounces of Gouda cheese.

Sprinkle the shredded Gouda cheese all over the top, tucking it in with the ham and croissants.

In a bowl, crack in 6 eggs.

Add one cup of heavy cream and one cup of half and half to the eggs.

Add a tablespoon of Dijon mustard.

Season with onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, nutmeg, a little bit of salt, and pepper.

Whisk the egg mixture thoroughly.

Pour the egg mixture all over the top of your casserole.

Finish it off with some chopped fresh chives.

Bake in a 350-degree Fahrenheit oven for about 40-45 minutes until it's nice, golden brown, and bubbly.

Tips
Let the mini croissants sit on the counter for about a week to get a little stale.
Use Black Forest ham instead of honey ham to avoid it being too sweet.
Shred the Gouda cheese yourself, as it tastes much better than pre-shredded cheese.
