Directions

  1. 1Drop chicken breast into your slow cooker and spread them out evenly across the bottom.
  2. 2Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. 3Sear the seasoned chicken.
  4. 4Get 1 1/2 cups of chicken broth, add 3 tablespoons of cornstarch, and whisk it all together.
  5. 5Pour the mixture into your slow cooker.
  6. 6Add a teaspoon of Italian seasoning, a half a teaspoon of salt, a half a teaspoon of pepper, a half a teaspoon of paprika, and a half a teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes.
  7. 7Mix all the ingredients together quickly.
  8. 8Put your chicken back in the slow cooker.
  9. 9Cut up about four or five garlic cloves and mix them in.
  10. 10Dry off and chop up about a third cup's worth of sun-dried tomatoes.
  11. 11Sprinkle the sun-dried tomatoes on top of your chicken breasts.
  12. 12Put the lid on the slow cooker.
  13. 13Set your slow cooker to low for 6 hours and wait.
  14. 14When the chicken is done, take the lid off.
  15. 15Using a meat thermometer or a fork, make sure the chicken is fully cooked and falling apart.
  16. 16Carefully remove the chicken.
  17. 17Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream.
  18. 18Add a half a cup of fresh grated Parmesan cheese.
  19. 19Once that's all mixed together, put your chicken back in.
  20. 20If you have some fresh chopped basil, sprinkle that on too.
  21. 21Before plating, grab a fork, scoop up a big bite, and taste it.
