Directions
- 1Add butter to a saucepan.
- 2Pour water into the saucepan.
- 3Add flour to the saucepan.
- 4Mix the ingredients in the saucepan until a dough forms.
- 5Transfer the dough to a mixing bowl.
- 6Crack an egg into the dough.
- 7Mix the egg into the dough.
- 8Add another egg to the dough and mix until fully incorporated and smooth.
- 9Spread the dough evenly into a springform pan lined with baking paper.
- 10Bake the dough until golden brown and puffed.
- 11Place one baked pastry layer inside a cake mold ring.
- 12Spoon the cream filling on top of the pastry layer and spread it evenly.
- 13Place the second baked pastry layer on top of the cream filling.
- 14Dust the top of the cake with powdered sugar using a sieve.
- 15Cut the cake into slices.
- 16Serve a slice of the cake on a plate.
