Make syrup by combining water, sugar, cloves, cinnamon stick, lemon zest and half of the lemon juice in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then turn off the heat.
Butter the bottom and sides of a baking pan and line it with a phyllo pastry sheet. Press it down and brush it with more melted butter.
Layer several more phyllo sheets, brushing each with butter, until you have formed a pastry base.
Trim the edges of the pastry and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes.
Mix together crushed walnuts, pistachios, icing sugar, cinnamon, cloves, melted butter and syrup.
Spread the nut mixture into the baked pastry base.
Prepare the cheesecake mixture by beating together cream cheese, sugar, Greek yogurt, flour, vanilla, the remaining lemon juice, and three eggs.
Pour the cheesecake mixture over the nut layer.
Cover with more phyllo sheets and butter each layer. Cut slits into the top layer.
Add cloves on top of the pastry.
Bake the cheesecake at 160°C (320°F) for 70 minutes.
Pour the warm syrup over the baked cheesecake while still hot. Let cool and refrigerate before serving.
