Crispy Mutton Fillet

Directions

  1. 1Add oil to the pan.
  2. 2Add sliced onions to the hot oil and sauté until slightly softened.
  3. 3Add whole spices (green cardamom, bay leaf, big cardamom, cinnamon, mace, nutmeg) to the sautéed onions.
  4. 4Add mutton pieces to the pan.
  5. 5Add ginger garlic paste to the mutton.
  6. 6Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt to taste.
  7. 7Mix all the spices and ingredients well with the mutton.
  8. 8Add 5 cups of water to the mutton mixture.
  9. 9Cover the pan and let the mutton cook until tender.
  10. 10Once the mutton is cooked, remove the pieces from the gravy and place them on a separate plate.
  11. 11Prepare the garlic chutney by blending soaked red chilies (50grm) to a paste and placing it in a bowl.
  12. 12Add garlic paste (3 cups), the juice of one lemon, black pepper (1 spn), salt to taste, and one egg to the red chili paste.
  13. 13Mix all the chutney ingredients thoroughly.
  14. 14Coat each piece of cooked mutton thoroughly with the prepared chutney mixture.
  15. 15Coat the chutney-covered mutton pieces with maida (all-purpose flour).
  16. 16Dip the flour-coated mutton pieces in water.
  17. 17Re-coat the mutton pieces with maida and shake them lightly to create a crispy crumb texture.
  18. 18Deep fry the coated mutton pieces in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
  19. 19Serve the crispy fried mutton fillets with spicy garlic chutney.

  • 3 cup Garlic paste
  • 1 pc Lemon
  • 1 spn Black pepper
  • 1 pc Egg
  • Maida (All-purpose flour)
