Hawaiian Themed Dessert

Directions

  1. 1Cut the entire pineapple in half, keeping the top on both halves.
  2. 2Make a small slit on the bottom and top of each pineapple half, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. 3Cut all around the edges of the pineapple flesh.
  4. 4Make many vertical and horizontal lines in the pineapple flesh to create small chunks.
  5. 5Scrape all the pineapple out into a bowl.
  6. 6Add one large tub of half-thawed Cool Whip and two softened blocks of cream cheese to the bowl.
  7. 7Mix the ingredients for about 4 minutes to ensure the pineapple is well distributed.
  8. 8Using a spoon, scoop the filling back into the pineapple halves.
  9. 9Place the filled pineapples on a charcuterie board.
  10. 10Serve with graham crackers.

Tips

  • Do not cut all the way through the pineapple shell when making the slits, as it will be used as a serving dish.
