Drain six 3lb cans of Van Camp's pork and beans using a strainer, shaking them out but not rinsing them.

Place the drained beans into a large aluminum pan.

Cut and fry 1.5 pounds of bacon in a pan until golden brown.

Fry 1 pound of hot breakfast sausage in a separate pan.

Add the cooked sausage, including the grease, into the pan with the beans.

Stir the sausage into the beans.

Add the fried bacon, including the grease, to the pan with the beans and sausage.

Mix the bacon into the beans and sausage.

Sprinkle 2 pounds of brown sugar over the mixture.

Add two 10oz bags of chopped onions over the mixture.

Squeeze ketchup liberally over the top.

Squeeze yellow mustard liberally over the top.

Stir all ingredients together until well combined.

Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 hours.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional hour to achieve a nice top glaze.
