Directions
- 1Add 1 pound of peeled potatoes to a pan.
- 2Cover potatoes with water.
- 3Bring potatoes to a boil and let them cook until fork tender.
- 4Drain the water from the potatoes.
- 5Return the potatoes to the pan.
- 6Mash the potatoes with a fork.
- 7Add 1 teaspoon of black pepper, garlic powder, and parsley flakes.
- 8Add about 1 tablespoon of Pepper Belly Pete's Flavor-Time Southern Seasoning.
- 9Add 2 tablespoons of butter.
- 10Add 5 slices of cooked and crumbled bacon.
- 11Add 1 large tablespoon of sour cream.
- 12Add 1 bunch of green onions sliced thin.
- 13Add 8 ounces of freshly shredded cheddar cheese.
- 14Add a splash of milk.
- 15Mix all ingredients together.
- 16Sprinkle in about 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.
- 17Mix the cornstarch into the potato mixture really well.
- 18Add all the mixture to a gallon freezer bag.
- 19Flatten the mixture in the bag until it is about this thick.
- 20Lay the bag flat in the freezer for a minimum of 3 hours.
- 21Once frozen solid, take them out of the freezer.
- 22Cut the frozen mixture into fries.
- 23Heat your airless fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 24Start dropping the fries into the fryer.
- 25Cook the fries until they are golden brown.
