Directions
1
Crush one 14 oz box of gram crackers thoroughly in its packaging until it's all mashed into crumbs.
2
Pour the crushed gram cracker crumbs into a bowl.
3
Add one 12 oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate morsels, one cup of chopped nuts, and two 14 oz cans of sweetened condensed milk to the bowl.
4
Add half a teaspoon of salt and two teaspoons of vanilla to the mixture.
5
Attach a paddle attachment to a stand mixer, put the guard on, and mix the concoction for about two minutes until it's thick and sticky.
6
Prepare a 13x9 pan by balling up parchment paper, then flattening it back into the pan, and spraying it generously with cooking spray.
7
Transfer the thick mixture into the prepared pan on top of the parchment paper.
8
Place a piece of wax paper on top of the mixture and use it to mash the mixture down as flat as possible in the pan.
9
Bake the mixture in a 350°F oven for about 30 minutes.
10
Remove the pan from the oven and let it cool completely for a couple of hours.
11
Once cooled, take the slab out of the pan by turning it over.
12
Cut the slab into small, bar-sized pieces.
13
Put some powdered sugar in a Ziploc bag.
14
Add the cut bars into the Ziploc bag, a handful at a time, and shake them really well to coat them with powdered sugar.
