Frozen Kool-Aid Cups

Directions

  1. 1Open a Kool-Aid packet and pour its contents into a pitcher.
  2. 2Pour hot water into the pitcher to ensure the flavor is fully dissolved.
  3. 3Add one cup of sugar to the pitcher.
  4. 4Add enough hot water to dissolve the sugar.
  5. 5Mix the sugar, Kool-Aid, and hot water thoroughly.
  6. 6Add cold water to reach a total of 32 ounces.
  7. 7Place small Styrofoam cups on a tray.
  8. 8Add pineapples to the bottom of some cups; alternatively, leave them plain.
  9. 9Pour the prepared Kool-Aid mixture into the cups, filling them up to the line.
  10. 10Repeat the mixing process for the green apple Kool-Aid.
  11. 11Add a green apple Jolly Rancher to the bottom of each cup for the green flavor.
  12. 12Pour the green Kool-Aid mixture into the cups.
  13. 13Repeat the mixing process for the blue raspberry lemonade Kool-Aid.
  14. 14Add freshly frozen raspberries to the bottom of the cups for the blue flavor.
  15. 15Pour the blue Kool-Aid mixture into the cups.
  16. 16Wipe off any spilled Kool-Aid from the outside of the cups.
  17. 17Place the filled cups in the freezer until completely frozen.
  18. 18To eat, cup your hands around the frozen cup to loosen the ice from the rim.
  19. 19Push the frozen treat up from the bottom of the cup.

Tips

  • Wipe off any sticky residue from the cups to prevent sticky hands.
  • Loosen the frozen drink from the cup by cupping your hands around it and gently pushing from the bottom.
