Directions

  1. 1Add heeng and mustard seeds to oil once the seeds splatter.
  2. 2Add curry leaves, chilli, ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. 3Add boiled potato along with haldi, salt, kuti lalmirch and garam masala.
  4. 4Mix well, switch off the frame and keep it aside.
  5. 5For the outer coating add salt, haldi, chilli powder, heeng and water to besan.
  6. 6Mix it well, it's supposed to have a thick consistency.
  7. 7Take a slice of bread and trim the edges using a katori.
  8. 8Spread a very thin layer of green chutney.
  9. 9Followed by a thin layer of the potato mixture which we made earlier.
  10. 10Top it with a sookhi chutney.
  11. 11Put another slice over it and spread the besan mixture which we made.
  12. 12Place it inverted in a well-buttered waffle maker.
  13. 13Put a layer of the coating on the top.
  14. 14Let this cook for 10 minutes till the top is brown.

  • 2 Pinches Heeng
  • 1 Tbsp Mustard Seeds
  • 12 -15 Curry Leaves
  • 2 Chilli
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 4 Boiled Potato
  • 1 Tsp Haldi
  • 1.5 Tsp Salt
  • 1.5 Tsp Kuti Lal Mirch
  • 1 Tsp Garam Masala
  • 0.5 Cup Roasted Peanuts
  • 15 Roasted Curry Leaves
  • 6 Garlic
  • 1 Tsp Amchur
  • 2 -3 Tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli
  • 1 Cup Besan
  • Water
  • Bread Slices
  • Green Chutney
  • Butter
