Add warm water, milk, sugar, and yeast to the bowl. Then mix in eggs, add in the flour and salt.
Start mixing and during the process add softened butter, continue until the dough starts to come together and become elastic. Once the dough is smooth and well combined cover it and let it rest for about 3 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
Once the dough has risen, remove it from the bowl and divide it into 6 equal pieces using a dough scraper or knife.
Take one piece of dough at a time and roll it out on a floured surface using a rolling pin. Roll it and spread a thin layer of softened butter over the dough. Roll the dough up tightly from the short side to form a cylinder. Repeat the process with the remaining dough pieces, creating a total of 6 buttered rolls.
Take each roll and cut it in half lengthwise. Then, roll the two halves around each other, keeping the buttered layers facing outward. Shape each piece into a spiral and place them into the well of a greased muffin tin. Repeat this with the remaining dough rolls.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the cruffins for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
Once baked, remove the cruffins from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before carefully removing them from the muffin tin. Let them cool completely and then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
