Directions
1
Chop 1 pound of bacon.
2
Add the chopped bacon to a large skillet, put it on medium heat, and start cooking.
3
In a large bowl, add 1.5 pounds of cubed chicken and season it well.
4
Toss the chicken with a few tablespoons of cornstarch.
5
While the bacon is cooking, shred a block of cheese, using around half or a bit more.
6
Once the bacon is almost cooked, add half a diced onion to the skillet.
7
Once the onion is translucent and the bacon is done, remove them from the pan and let them drain on paper towels.
8
Leave the bacon grease in the pan and start cooking the chicken for about 3 minutes on both sides.
9
Toss the chicken for 30 seconds until crispy, then remove it from the pan.
10
To the same pan, add one whole carton of chicken broth and 1 pound of pasta.
11
Set the heat to medium-high and cook for 8 to 9 minutes once it starts boiling, until the chicken broth is absorbed and noodles are cooked.
12
Lower the heat and add 1 cup of heavy cream or half and half.
13
Add about a cup of shredded cheese, stir, then add another cup, allowing it to melt quickly.
14
Add the cooked bacon and onion back into the pan and toss it up.
15
Add the cooked chicken to the pan and mix everything together.
