Place the chicken legs into a pot.

Rinse the chicken legs under cold water.

Boil the chicken legs for approximately 5 minutes.

Peel the potatoes.

Slice the peeled potatoes.

Add soy sauce to the chicken in the pot.

Add Korean red pepper flakes (gochugaru) to the chicken in the pot.

Add sugar to the chicken in the pot.

Add the sliced potatoes to the pot with the chicken.

Tips
Start with 1 cup of water and add more as you go if necessary, but it shouldn't be soupy.
