Directions
- 1Add ground chicken to a bowl.
- 2Add one egg to the ground chicken.
- 3Add breadcrumbs to the ground chicken mixture.
- 4Add minced garlic and ginger to the mixture.
- 5Add salt, black pepper, green onions, and other seasonings to the mixture.
- 6Add cornstarch to the mixture.
- 7Add optional red pepper flakes to the mixture.
- 8Using an ice cream scooper, sear off chicken meatballs for 2-3 minutes per side on medium-high heat.
- 9Finish cooking the meatballs in the oven.
- 10For the honey garlic sauce, add butter to the pan.
- 11Add minced garlic and ginger to the melted butter.
- 12Add optional chili flakes.
- 13Add honey to the pan.
- 14Add soy sauce to the pan.
- 15Add a cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
- 16Stir the sauce until it thickens.
- 17Add back the meatballs to the sauce.
- 18Let the meatballs simmer on low for 5-6 minutes or until fully coated.
- 19Serve the meatballs over rice.
- 20Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
