Add three cups of warm water to a bowl.

Add two tablespoons of active dry yeast and whisk until dissolved.

Pour in seven cups of bread flour.

Add three teaspoons of salt.

Add two tablespoons of oil, preferably extra virgin olive oil.

Use a KitchenAid to knead the dough until it doesn't stick as much to the bowl.

Place flour on your surface to prevent the dough from sticking.

Knead the dough into a ball.

Place the dough into a bowl and let it rise for one hour.

Put some flour on your surface and split the risen dough into four pieces.

Knead the four pieces into dough balls, spinning them to help them keep a ball shape.

Add flour on top of the dough balls.

Let the dough balls rise for another hour.

Set your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Cook the bread bowls for 40 minutes.

Once removed from the oven, cut the lids off the bread bowls.

Scrape some of the bread out to create space for the soup.
