Place the seared pork chops, seasoned with salt and pepper, in the bottom of the crock pot.

Layer the sliced red apple and green apple on top of the pork chops.

Sprinkle diced onion over the apples.

Drizzle chicken broth on top of the ingredients.

Sprinkle a little Worcestershire sauce over the ingredients.

Take a handful of brown sugar and sprinkle it all over the apples and pork chops.

Sprinkle fresh thyme on top; dried thyme can also be used.

Press one clove of garlic in with the other ingredients.

Sprinkle cinnamon on top.

Add a little bit of nutmeg.

Place the lid on the crock pot.

Cook on high for 2 hours or on low for 4 hours, checking after 90 minutes on high or 3 hours on low, depending on the size of the pork chops.

Towards the end of the cooking time, add a mixture of cornstarch and water to thicken the sauce.

Remove a pork chop and ladle extra sauce over it.

Garnish with a little fresh thyme if desired.

Tips
You can use just one type of apple or both.
You can use dried thyme if fresh is not available.
Check the pork chops earlier as cooking time depends on their size.
Add cornstarch mixed with water at the end of cooking to thicken the sauce.
