Sweet and Spicy Garlic Chicken

Directions

  1. 1Prep desired vegetable, like broccoli, with olive oil and seasonings, then bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.
  2. 2Add the chopped chicken and eggs to a bowl and toss to coat.
  3. 3In a separate bowl or plastic bag, combine the crushed corn flakes, paprika, garlic powder, pepper, and seasoning salt.
  4. 4Toss each piece of chicken in the corn flake mixture until fully coated.
  5. 5Arrange the chicken in a single layer in an air fryer basket, spray lightly with avocado oil.
  6. 6Cook the chicken in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, or until crispy and cooked through.
  7. 7Add the minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes to a skillet and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  8. 8Lower the heat to low.
  9. 9In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water.
  10. 10Add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet with the sauce ingredients.
  11. 11Cook the sauce, stirring, until it thickens.
  12. 12Remove the sauce from heat.
  13. 13Add the cooked chicken to the sauce and toss until every piece is nice and coated.
