Heat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking dish or sheet pan with foil for easy cleanup.

In a small bowl combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper.

Place the salmon fillet in the center of the pan.

Scatter shrimp and onion wedges around the salmon, spreading everything out so it roasts instead of steaming.

Drizzle olive oil and melted butter evenly over the salmon and shrimp.

Sprinkle the seasoning blend over everything until well coated.

Bake 18–22 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily and the shrimp turn pink and plump.

For extra color, broil 1–2 minutes at the end.

Serve warm with lemon wedges and spoon a little of the buttery pan juices over the seafood.

1 large onion, cut into wedges

2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp paprika
