Garlic Parmesan Melting Cabbage

Directions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. 2Cut cabbage into thick wedges, keeping the core attached.
  3. 3Sear the cabbage in a hot oven-safe skillet with olive oil until both sides are nicely browned.
  4. 4Remove the cabbage from the pan and season with salt and pepper.
  5. 5In the same skillet, sauté onion, garlic, and spices until soft.
  6. 6Stir in cream cheese until smooth.
  7. 7Pour in the chicken broth.
  8. 8Mix cornstarch and water, then add it to the pan.
  9. 9Let everything simmer until slightly thickened.
  10. 10Stir in half the Parmesan cheese.
  11. 11Nestle the cabbage back into the pan.
  12. 12Bake for about 50 minutes at 350 degrees, flipping once, until tender.
  13. 13Let it rest.
  14. 14Finish with the remaining Parmesan and fresh parsley.
