Directions
- 1Place two 12-ounce bags of thawed frozen peas into a large bowl.
- 2Shred 8 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese into a bowl.
- 3Add the shredded cheddar cheese to the bowl with the peas.
- 4Add 1 pound of diced ham to the bowl.
- 5Add 2 cups of bacon bits to the bowl.
- 6Chop 7 ounces of celery using a vegetable chopper.
- 7Chop about half of one bundle of green onions.
- 8Chop 4 hard-boiled eggs.
- 9Add the chopped celery, green onions, and hard-boiled eggs to the large bowl.
- 10Add about 1 to 2 teaspoons of salt.
- 11Add 2 teaspoons of garlic lovers seasoning.
- 12Add 1 cup of sour cream.
- 13Add 3 heaping tablespoons of mayonnaise.
- 14Mix all the ingredients thoroughly with a spatula until well combined.
- 15Serve and enjoy the Southern Pea Salad.
