Three Cheese Cheesesteaks

Directions

  1. 1Slice the steak as thinly as possible across the grain.
  2. 2Season the steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder.
  3. 3Sear the seasoned steak in a skillet over medium-high heat for a few minutes per side until just about cooked through.
  4. 4Remove the steak from the pan.
  5. 5In the same pan, sauté sliced peppers and onions for about 3 to 5 minutes or until they are softened.
  6. 6Return the steak to the pan.
  7. 7Add half a block of cubed cream cheese and 4 to 6 slices of American cheese to the pan with the steak and vegetables.
  8. 8Toast sub rolls under the broiler.
  9. 9Load the cheesesteak mixture onto the toasted sub rolls.
  10. 10Top the cheesesteak mixture with provolone slices.
  11. 11Pop the sandwiches back under the broiler just until the provolone cheese on top is melty.

  • 5 slices of American cheese
  • 3 slices of provolone
  • 1 bell pepper

Tips
