Frozen Dinner Rolls

Directions

  1. 1In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water and yeast.
  2. 2Add melted butter, salt, sugar, egg, and flour. Mix until well combined, then knead for 10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  3. 3Transfer to a greased bowl, turning once to coat. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 40 minutes, or until doubled in size.
  4. 4Punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions (55 grams each) to form rolls. Place them on a greased baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. 5Freeze for three hours, then put the rolls in a ziploc bag.
  6. 6Remove the rolls from the freezer and place them in a baking dish or on a plate. Let thaw and rise for about 4 hours, until doubled in size.
  7. 7Bake at 350°F for 22-25 minutes, until golden brown.
