Easy Sweet & Sour Sauce
Directions
- 1In a small saucepan, combine water, vinegar, apricot preserves, soy sauce, and sugar. Mix well and turn on heat.
- 2Bring to a boil and ensure sugar is all dissolved.
- 3Bring the sauce down to a simmer.
- 4Combine cornstarch and water and mix well.
- 5Pour into the saucepan and stir immediately to thicken the sauce.
- 6Serve cool or warm.

- 0.5 cup water
- 0.25 cup white distilled vinegar
- 0.25 cup apricot or peach preserves
- 2.5 tbsp sugar
- 0.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
