Southern Smothered Turkey Wings

Directions

  1. 1Place fresh turkey wings into a casserole dish.
  2. 2Season the turkey wings with complete seasoning, Cajun seasoning, adobo, garlic powder, onion powder, and lots of black pepper.
  3. 3Add water to the casserole dish with the turkey wings.
  4. 4Cover the casserole dish and put it into a hot oven.
  5. 5For the Rice-A-Roni, add olive oil to a pan.
  6. 6Add diced onion, bell pepper, and celery to the pan.
  7. 7Add garlic paste (or chopped garlic cloves) to the pan.
  8. 8Add rice to the pan.
  9. 9Crunch up some leftover spaghetti or pasta and add it to the pan.
  10. 10Cook the rice and pasta mixture until it's a light brown color with a few brown spots.
  11. 11Add water to the rice and pasta mixture.
  12. 12Add chicken bouillon and dried oregano to flavor the rice.
  13. 13Let the rice cook until the liquid cooks out.
  14. 14Kill the heat, put a lid on the rice, and let it sit for about ten minutes.
  15. 15Take the tender turkey wings out of the oven.
  16. 16Add chicken stock to a bowl.
  17. 17Add liquid seasoning and Worcestershire to the bowl.
  18. 18Season the mixture with onion powder, garlic powder, and lots of black pepper.
  19. 19Add a couple of teaspoons of cornstarch to thicken the gravy base.
  20. 20Whisk the mixture together until the cornstarch is dissolved.
  21. 21Pour the gravy base over the turkey wings.
  22. 22Return the turkey wings with the gravy to the hot oven until it's nice and bubbly.
