5Deep fry the battered chicken at 350 degrees for about 4 to 5 minutes until done.
6In a pan, add 3 tablespoons of sugar, 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, half a teaspoon of garlic powder, a quarter teaspoon of red peppers, 3 teaspoons of rice vinegar, 4 tablespoons of low sodium soy sauce, a quarter teaspoon of ginger, 4 tablespoons of chicken broth, and 2 tablespoons of hoisin sauce.
7Start the stove to heat the sauce.
8In a separate bowl, add 1 tablespoon of corn starch to 1 tablespoon of water and mix to create a corn starch slurry.
9Add the corn starch slurry to the sauce and let it thicken.
10Add the fried chicken to a bigger pan.
11Pour the thickened sauce over the chicken.
12Mix the chicken into the sauce until well coated.
13Transfer the General Tso Chicken to a plate and serve.
