Nutella-Stuffed Brownies

Directions

  1. 1Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
  2. 2Spread the nutella onto the parchment into a thin, even square the size of the pan.
  3. 3Freeze for at least 30 minutes or until frozen solid.
  4. 4Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C) and line/grease an 8x8-inch pan with parchment.
  5. 5In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  6. 6Add eggs and vanilla, then whisk vigorously for 1-2 minutes.
  7. 7Stir in cocoa powder and salt until fully combined.
  8. 8Mix in oil, then gently fold in the flour until just combined (don’t over mix).
  9. 9Fold in chocolate chips/chopped chocolate.
  10. 10Spread half the batter into the prepared pan.
  11. 11Place the frozen nutella sheet on top of it.
  12. 12Then, spread the remaining batter over it to cover the nutella layer completely.
  13. 13Top with more chocolate chips/chopped chocolate.
  14. 14Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with no wet batter.
  15. 15It should just come out with a little nutella & slightly moist crumbs.
  16. 16Let the brownies cool for clean slices.

  • 10 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs, room temp
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour, spooned & leveled or weighed (don’t pack it in)
  • 0.75 cup chocolate chips/chunks
  • 190 g nutella
