Directions
1
Chop and cook the onions and garlic until fully cooked, approximately 3 minutes. Set aside and allow to cool to room temperature.
2
In a small bowl combine breadcrumbs and milk and mix together.
3
In a large bowl, add the ground beef, eggs, breadcrumb milk mixture, cooked garlic and onions, and all other listed ingredients.
4
Mix well until fully combined.
5
Add the meat mixture evenly into an 8x4 loaf pan and make sure it’s packed down.
6
Place the loaf pan on an oven tray and bake the meatloaf on the middle rack in a preheated oven at 350°F for 45 minutes.
7
While the meatloaf is in the oven, peel and chop the potatoes for mashed potatoes.
8
Boil the potatoes in a pot with salted water.
9
Trim and blanch the green beans in boiling water.
10
Toss the blanched green beans in melted butter, salt, and pepper.
11
For the glaze, whisk together brown sugar, ketchup, onion powder, garlic powder, and vinegar until fully combined and smooth.
12
After the initial bake, pour the glaze over the meatloaf.
13
Continue to cook the meatloaf with the glaze for another 15-20 minutes.
14
Rice the cooked potatoes.
15
Add cream and butter to the riced potatoes and mix until creamy.
