Freezer Raspberry Lemon Drop

Directions

  1. 1Pour 1 cup of water into a saucepan.
  2. 2Add 1 cup of sugar to the saucepan with water.
  3. 3Add 1 cup of fresh raspberries to the saucepan.
  4. 4Squeeze half a lemon into the raspberry mixture and leave it in the saucepan to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. 5Drain the raspberry puree through a strainer to remove seeds.
  6. 6Cut 4 lemons into halves.
  7. 7Juice the halved lemons and set the lemon juice aside.
  8. 8Pour Tito's Handmade Vodka into the bottle using a funnel, filling it up to the top of the Tito's sign on the label.
  9. 9Add 4-5 ounces of Triple Sec orange liqueur into the vodka bottle.
  10. 10Pour 4 ounces of fresh lemon juice into the vodka bottle.
  11. 11Add about 1/3 cup of the prepared raspberry puree into the vodka bottle, adjusting to desired sweetness.
  12. 12Shake the bottle to mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
  13. 13Place the bottle in the freezer for 2 hours, or until desired chill is reached.
  14. 14Rim a glass with a lemon slice and then dip it in sugar for garnish.
  15. 15Pour the frozen raspberry lemon drop into the prepared glass.
  16. 16Garnish with a lemon slice and fresh raspberries.
