Easy Homemade Dumpling Wrappers

  1. 1Add flour to a bowl.
  2. 2Pour water into the flour.
  3. 3Mix the flour, salt, and water with chopsticks until a rough dough forms.
  4. 4Knead the dough by hand until smooth.
  5. 5Place the dough in a bowl and cover it with cling film to rest for at least 30 minutes.
  6. 6Dust a clean surface with flour.
  7. 7Place the rested dough on the floured surface.
  8. 8Cut the dough in half using a dough cutter.
  9. 9Divide each half into smaller pieces.
  10. 10Fold a piece of dough and cut it into smaller, equal portions.
  11. 11Press each small dough piece flat with your hand.
  12. 12Roll out each piece of dough into a thin, round shape using a rolling pin.
  13. 13Cut out round wrapper shapes from the rolled dough using a round cutter.
  14. 14Place a spoonful of filling in the center of a dumpling wrapper.
  15. 15Place a small fold at the top edge of the wrapper against the backside and press it firmly.
  16. 16Continue folding and pressing the edges until the wrapper is completely closed.
  17. 17Repeat the process for all dumplings.
  18. 18Arrange the finished dumplings on a plate dusted with flour.

Tips
