Directions

  1. 1To make the filling, combine your ground pork, scallions, lots of grated garlic and ginger, a few tablespoons of soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, as much chili crisp as you like, a splash of rice vinegar, and white pepper.
  2. 2Give that a gentle mix with your hands, and then set aside.
  3. 3To build the lasagna, grab a small baking dish or individual ramekins.
  4. 4Dip your wonton wrappers quickly in water, then layer it into the bottom of the dish.
  5. 5Spread a thin layer of the pork mixture on top, then repeat: wrappers, pork, wrappers, pork until you run out of space or ingredients.
  6. 6Finish with a layer of the wrappers.
  7. 7Pour about a tablespoon or two of chicken broth or water over the top to keep everything nice and juicy.
  8. 8Carefully transfer it to a steamer, cover and steam that for about 25 minutes.
  9. 9Drizzle with more soy sauce, chili crisp, scallions, and sesame seeds.
