Directions

  1. 1Heat ghee in a Kadhai and add cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom. Let it pop for 30 seconds.
  2. 2Add mutton and fry on high for 5 minutes.
  3. 3Prepare a paste by blending coriander stems, curry leaves, chillies, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, Kashmiri red chilli powder, black peppercorns, and cumin seeds.
  4. 4Add the paste to the Kadhai and fry for 5 minutes on high, then close the lid and simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
  5. 5Add crispy fried brown onions and salt. Fry on high for 3-4 minutes.
  6. 6Add 2.5 cups of water, mix well, close the lid, and simmer on low heat for an hour, stirring occasionally.
  7. 7Add garam masala powder and garnish with coriander leaves.

  • 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 5 Brown onions
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 2.5 cups Water
  • 0.5 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1 handful Coriander leaves
