Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Lightly grease a 3-quart baking dish.

Slice 3 sweet onions thinly and place them in a baking dish.

Toss the onions with a little olive oil.

Add butter to the onions.

Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning, paprika, and oregano.

Bake the onions at 375 degrees F for about an hour, stirring every 20 to 30 minutes, until softened and caramelized.

Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to a boil.

Add tortellini and cook for 3 minutes; drain.

Remove onions from the oven and increase oven temperature to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Stir in French onion dip until well combined.
