Directions

  1. 1Prepare the Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix according to package directions by combining the mix, shredded cheese, and water. Mix gently.
  2. 2Heat a skillet and add avocado oil.
  3. 3Add shrimp and lobster to the hot skillet.
  4. 4Cook the shrimp and lobster until about 80% done, then remove from the skillet.
  5. 5Add diced green bell pepper, red bell pepper, celery, garlic, and onion to the same skillet.
  6. 6Cook the vegetables until translucent and fragrant.
  7. 7Add 3 tablespoons of butter to the cooked vegetables to create a roux base.
  8. 8Mix the butter with the vegetables until melted and combined.
  9. 9Add 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour to the mixture.
  10. 10Mix the flour with the butter and vegetables until well combined.
  11. 11Add 1 tablespoon of shrimp bouillon powder dissolved in 1.5 cups of water to the mixture.
  12. 12Stir the mixture until it thickens.
  13. 13Return the cooked shrimp and lobster to the skillet.
  14. 14Mix the shrimp and lobster with the thickened sauce.
  15. 15Add more shrimp broth if the mixture is too thick; it should not be too thick or too watery.
  16. 16Season with Kosher salt, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and white pepper.
  17. 17Mix in 0.5 cups of heavy cream.
  18. 18Spoon the shrimp and lobster mixture into ramekins, filling to the line just below the top.
  19. 19Top each ramekin with the prepared Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix.
  20. 20Bake in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 15 minutes.
  21. 21Once baked, brush the top of the pot pie with the butter packet from the biscuit mix.

Tips
