Christmas sugar cookies
Directions
- 1Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- 2In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- 3Add egg and vanilla; mix until combined.
- 4Slowly mix in dry ingredients until just combined.
- 5Fold in sprinkles.
- 6Scoop dough using a 3-tablespoon cookie scoop and place on a lined baking sheet. Press down to flatten slightly.
- 7Bake at 350°F for 9-11 minutes. Let cool before frosting.
- 8Beat cream cheese, butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- 9Add powdered sugar and mix until combined.
- 10Add frosting to a piping bag and pipe swirls onto the cooled cookies. Add more sprinkles on top.
