Directions

  1. 1Put 2 and a half cups of flour in a bowl, quarter tablespoon of nutmeg, three tablespoons of sugar and half a tablespoon of salt.
  2. 2Take a measuring cup with half a cup of warm milk, add one egg, 40 grams of melted butter and 7 grams of dry yeast.
  3. 3Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ones until it looks nasty.
  4. 4Mix it up with a spatula until it thickens up.
  5. 5Add some oil on the table and place the dough and start knead it out.
  6. 6Put it back in a bowl with plastic foil on top for two hours.
  7. 7Place it on a table with flour, roll it out, then use a doughnut cutter.
  8. 8Let them rest on parchment paper for 20 minutes, then fry them over high heat until they become even brown and super soft doughnuts.
  9. 9Add 75 grams of melted butter in a bowl, 5 tablespoons of milk and two cups of powdered sugar.
  10. 10Mix it up until you get a texture like on screen.
  11. 11Dip the doughnuts in the glaze one by one and let them rest for a good 20 minutes.
