Directions

  1. 1Add 300 grams of chicken breast, cut into strips, to a bowl. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Stir and mix everything thoroughly.
  2. 2Add 1 tablespoon of flour. Stir and mix well to coat the chicken with the flour.
  3. 3Add the chicken pieces to a heated pan with some oil. Remember to cook over medium heat so that you have control and nothing burns.
  4. 4After adding all the chicken, stir and continue cooking carefully. Set aside the fried chicken once it's golden and aromatic.
  5. 5In the same pan, add 1 white onion cut into pieces, 1 chopped red bell pepper, 1 chopped yellow bell pepper, and 3 minced garlic cloves. Stir and sauté until your kitchen starts to smell good.
  6. 6Turn off the heat and set aside the sautéed vegetables.
  7. 7In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 4 tablespoons of white vinegar, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, and mix until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  8. 8Add 2 tablespoons of ketchup and 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce. Stir and mix until the sauce is super smooth and homogenous.
  9. 9Pour the sauce over the sautéed vegetables and add a small amount of crushed red pepper flakes. Turn the heat back on and mix until the vegetables are cooked with the sauce. Cook for about 3 minutes over medium heat.
  10. 10Add the reserved chicken. Stir and mix everything well.
  11. 11Finish with a good amount of chopped green onions. Turn off the heat and serve while it's still warm.
