7Prepare roasted garlic by cutting the top off one bulb, sprinkling with oil, salt, and pepper, covering with foil, and baking in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 40 minutes.
8Squeeze the roasted garlic into the bowl.
9Add a good amount of green onions or chives to the bowl.
10Mix and fold all ingredients together.
11Transfer the dip into a baking dish.
12Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese evenly on top of the dip.
13Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
14Bake for about 20 minutes or until the cheese on top is nice and crispy.
15Garnish with additional green onions if desired.
