Directions

  1. 1Add 2 1/2 cups of water to the pot.
  2. 2Add two cinnamon sticks.
  3. 3Add one piloncillo.
  4. 4Add two chocolate Abuelita tablets.
  5. 5Cook until the piloncillo and chocolate dissolve. Cover it.
  6. 6In a blender, add some galletas Marias.
  7. 7Add half of a Galleta Maria package.
  8. 8Add a cup of Maseca.
  9. 9Add one can of evaporated milk.
  10. 10Add vanilla extract.
  11. 11Blend everything.
  12. 12Remove the cinnamon sticks from the pot.
  13. 13Whisk the chocolate mixture.
  14. 14Add 4 cups of milk to the pot.
  15. 15Add the blended mixture to the pot.
  16. 16Whisk everything together. Add more milk if you prefer a thicker consistency.
  17. 17Keep whisking every few minutes until ready.
  18. 18Serve.

  • 0.5 package Galleta Maria
  • 1 cup masca
  • 4 cups evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
