1In a cooker, add soaked chole, potatoes, salt, and water. Pressure cook until 5 whistles on medium to low flame.
2Transfer the cooked chole and potatoes to a blender, and blend it into a paste.
3In a blender, add boiled chole, potatoes, and yogurt. Blend into a smooth paste.
4Heat oil in a kadai, add ginger, green chillies, and onions. Cook until golden brown.
5Add the prepared paste, salt, coriander powder, Kashmiri lal mirch, turmeric powder, garam masala, and chole masala. Mix and cook for 8 minutes until oil separates from the masala.
6Add the boiled chole and mix well.
7Cover and cook for 8 minutes on medium flame.
8Add coriander leaves and tadka (oil, cumin seeds, green chillies, and ginger). Serve hot with kulcha.
