Start with two pounds of lean ground beef in the crock pot and separate it using a meat masher.

Add one bag of coleslaw into the crock pot and flatten it out on top of the ground beef.

Add a generous amount of shredded carrots.

Add a little bit of brown sugar (optional).

Add a couple scoops of minced garlic.

Add a generous amount of tamari sauce (about half a bottle).

Add two cans of low sodium beef broth into the crock pot.

Cover the crock pot and cook on high for two hours (mix halfway through if desired).

Add four packages of beef ramen noodles into the crock pot, tucking them into the other ingredients.

Put the lid back on and cook for 15 minutes (or 20 minutes if preferred).

Turn off the crock pot and stir the dish.

Add chili oil and mix it in.

Tips
Use 96% lean ground beef for less grease.
Brown sugar is optional but adds a beautiful caramelized flavor.
Tamari sauce is a gluten-free alternative to soy sauce.
No mixing is necessary initially, but the cook mixed halfway through.
Ramen cooks very quickly.
