Pretzel Salad

Directions

  1. 1Start off with two cups of crushed pretzels.
  2. 2Pour them in a mixing bowl.
  3. 3Add 3/4 cups of melted butter and three tablespoons of light brown sugar.
  4. 4Mix this all together.
  5. 5Add the mixture to a lightly greased 9x13 baking dish.
  6. 6Spread it out evenly across the bottom.
  7. 7Throw the whole thing in your oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
  8. 8While that's in the oven, drop a block of softened cream cheese into a mixing bowl.
  9. 9Add a half a cup of powdered sugar.
  10. 10Mix that till it's creamy using a hand mixer.
  11. 11Then add 1 and a 1/4 cups of heavy cream.
  12. 12Mix that until it stiffens to soft peaks.
  13. 13Ploop that right on top of your pretzel crust.
  14. 14Spread it out evenly.
  15. 15Set this aside.
  16. 16Pour one package of raspberry jello into two cups of boiling water.
  17. 17Stir that until it's dissolved.
  18. 18Remove it from the heat.
  19. 19Add one 12 oz bag of frozen raspberries.
  20. 20Give it a quick stir.
  21. 21Let this cool to room temperature before you ploop it right on top of everything else.
  22. 22Spread those berries out in an even layer on top.
  23. 23Put this whole thing in the fridge for at least two hours for that jello to set.
  24. 24When it comes out, cut yourself out a piece.

  • 1 package raspberry jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 12 oz bag frozen raspberries
