Bacon Jam Prime Rib Sliders

Directions

  1. 1Hit the prime rib steak sliders with salt, pepper, and garlic.
  2. 2Place the thick sliders into a smoker or oven at 275 degrees (or grill them directly).
  3. 3Slice the beef bacon into tiny strips.
  4. 4Add the sliced bacon to a cold pan.
  5. 5Turn the heat to medium-low to slowly render the fat.
  6. 6A few minutes later, slide in finely diced onion.
  7. 7Throw in some black pepper and continue to cook the bacon and onion down.
  8. 8Once crispy edges appear, deglaze with Worcestershire sauce and a couple of drops of apple cider vinegar.
  9. 9Go in with a healthy amount of dark maple syrup to caramelize the sugars and allow the mixture to thicken.
  10. 10Pull the prime rib patties off when they are about 120 degrees internal.
  11. 11Throw the patties on an extremely hot grill to caramelize.
  12. 12Give the patties a quick flip.
  13. 13Place half a slice of white American cheese on each patty.
  14. 14Assemble each brioche slider with pickles.
  15. 15Crown each slider with the bacon jam.
